Some impressions from #ASI19 Autosport EXPO Birmingham, where we are busy spreading the word for our new motorsport high performance battery – Made In Germany:
We are happy to annouce, that after extensive development with selected partners in OE industry and motorsport, today the first pre-production models of our new LITE↯BLOX derivative for professional racing were sent to selected test customers in Germany.
The LBM HIGH PERFORMANCE ACCUMULATOR will be available from March and comes with an integrated solid state relay / battery isolator (FIA kill switch), as well as a comprehensive telemetry connection via CAN (motorsport) & LIN (OE) – Made In Germany:
We wish all LITE↯BLOX partners, customers, fans & friends a skid free start into 2019!
We would like to thank the young up-and-coming motor sportsmen of the #FormulaStudent Team RUB Motorsport for the great cooperation in the past season.
The LITE↯BLOX LB19XX model is used here as the only power source in the vehicle and has always worked reliably:
“One of the most important decisions in the introduction of the lightweight construction concept in 2016 was the renunciation of an electric generator to bring even more engine power to the road. However, since many essential systems in the race car must be supplied with power, accordingly high demands are placed on the battery: This must ensure a complete Endurance race in the Formula Student that the power supply does not break – this would be the end of the race for us mean.
Since 2017, we have found a reliable solution that has never left us in the lurch: The LITEBLOX has more than sufficient capacity and a very low weight and fits perfectly into our concept. With the latest generation of this battery, we can even check the individual cell voltages directly by app – on the racetrack a very useful tool!”
We are looking forward to inform you, that we are going to reveal our all new LITE↯BLOX derivate for professional motorsport applications in the context of this years PWM Expo Cologne.
The new product series comes with full CAN/LIN interface, extensive data logging plus external kill-switch harness and has been approved along with FIA for Formula3 applications already:
Feel free to meet us at booth 4015 along with our Finnish Partner ELMER Racing.
